This swim diaper is worn next to the skin and under the swimsuit.  It is made to contain fecal (bowel) matter.  This keeps the stool and bacteria from entering the water and contaminating the swimming pool.  The manufacturer claims it will contain a certain amount of urine.  We recommend trying the swim diaper in the bathtub at home and check the urine containment prior to wearing it for urine containment in a public pool.
The swim diaper has been made to be worn next to the skin and underneath the regular swim suit.  

The swim diaper was made as a swimming pool diaper, but many have used it for a diaper cover due to it's well fitted design.  It is very discreet under swimsuits.
